Car boot sales are a mainly British form of market in which private individuals come together to sell household and garden goods. I would estimate that just about everybody in the UK must have been to a car boot sale by now! Most will regard this as a pleasant way to spend a weekend day, especially on a sunny morning, when the highlight of the day is to find a little gem, and get a good deal on it. There is no better way to recycle items that would otherwise probably end up in our already overflowing landfill sites across the country.
