Garden Antiques.
Not surprisingly, garden antiques are becoming increasingly popular, perhaps because of the plethora of gardening programs on the TV at the moment, encouraging us to transform that patch of barren wasteland we call the lawn.
Most will make do with multi-coloured painted wheelbarrows, bright planters and gnomes, but for that more discerning look, many are now turning to the antiques trade to fill this gap in the market.
With ideas that cover, sundials, benches, planters, statues, figurines, urns, stoneware, bird baths, fountains, weathervanes, seats, waterpumps and exterior tiles, the list is huge. For this reason I think 'Garden Antiques' deserves a category of its own, distinct from the larger grouping known collectively as Architectural Antiques.
